In The Name Of Love
Hello everyone!
I'm back in the saddle again!
Man where did the time go? Sorry for the lapse but I had a death in the family, the holidays, etc. The usual excuses. lol.
But I am making progress on my WIP. Which is good since for a time I was in a slump. You know that "treading through water" expression? Try treading through mud that is thicker than peanut butter, and you'll understand what I was going through. Writer's block is a b*%#@.
I've stared a new series in my writing, I'm thinking it will be at least 2 book long, perhaps 3. Set in the Regency time period a year after the battle of Trafalgar. Elly is the blind heroine who was left alone in the world and now stays with her best friend and her husband. Brendan was Elly's brother's Frank best friend and constant companion. They went to sea together, and Brendan was there when Frank died.
Just a little tidbit about the first book. hehehe.
In my personal life, i have a couple of exciting things happening in the upcoming months. For my birthday, me and hubby are flying to Denver, Colorado for an overnight stay, and also going to go see WICKED. It's so exciting, I can hardly stand it. It's also the first time we've flown anywhere together in our 11 years of marriage.
The other will happen in the end of June. Isabel and Andrea from RomanticInks are not only my cps, but my best friends. We met online at the avon authors board chat room. For almost 2 years now we've been online best friends. Now they're both flying out here to see me and my family for 5 days. I am so stoked about this! Two words: BRING KLEENEX. ;)
Guess that's all for now, see ya later!

Well, back to work!
The holidays are over and done with. I almost cried the day I took my Christmas tree down. But now it means, back to the rat race.
As far as my WIP goes, I finally got around to typing more on it yesterday, and it felt so good! Took too long of a break, but hey! I'm not under contract, I can do that right now. This book is different from my others for two reasons:
It's set in the Regency
and
The heroine Elly is blind.
It's such an emotional book already, so bring on the kleenex folks!
